Ann Marie Hart-Bookbinder, Nutritionist will present on: Food safety factors including: cooking temperatures, storage times for canned, refrigerated and frozen foods, food handling from farm and field to the table, fresh produce safety along with recent concerns about sprouts. Hart-Bookbinder will also discuss how the environment affects fish and other foods, food poisoning and how the government responds to contaminated food crisis. Attendees will receive handouts on food safety guidelines.
