Join Story Tapestries for a family-friendly kick-off to the Teaching Literacy through the Arts fundraising campaign. Story Tapestries' hope is to build a community of people who believe in the power of the arts to create change.

Activities include a dance party, juggler and performances by Arianna Ross, Meredith Kaunitz and Mark Lohr, 2:30 to 5 p.m.

Family-friendly Samba band, SAMBA TROVAO, heats up the evening, 5 to 7 p.m.
