Born and raised in Phoenix, I moved to the Washington, D.C. area in fall 2010 to begin writing for The Gazette. It’s my first full-time reporting gig, although I have freelanced for several publications, including Arizona Highways and The Arizona Republic. I graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in print journalism, a minor in business and an appreciation for investigative, balanced and honest reporting. Since, I have written about city government, education, business, development and health. You may spot me biking on Bradley Boulevard, trying to avoid getting hit by cars, or running on the Capital Crescent Trail, trying to avoid getting hit by road bikes. I’ll pull over if you have a good story to tell.
