Working with html and building Web pages has always been an enjoyable thing for me, and in my position as a Web editor with The Gazette, I get to indulge in that. For more than five years I’ve been helping convert our print products into Web articles, as well as helping to update Gazette.Net multiple times a day to make our newest and most interesting information easily accessible. I also create the Web presentation for some of our special collections of stories, photos and other information, presenting it in a clear and easy to understand way. Before working on the Web full-time, I was splitting my time between Web work and doing layout for The Gazette’s papers and occasionally writing articles and compiling calendars. Before coming to Maryland, I worked for three years in Cortland, N.Y., first as a city and police/fire reporter, then in the layout and editing department. I earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, N.Y.
