Run by the Maryland Soccer Foundation, the SoccerPlex is one of the premier soccer facilities in the country, with 24 professionally constructed and maintained outdoor soccer fields, and a lighted championship stadium that seats 3,200 spectators. Three of the fields are lighted synthetic turf fields that can be used year round. The SoccerPlex is home to the Soccer Association of Montgomery, which has soccer development programs and leagues for children ages 3 through 17. The SoccerPlex hosts local soccer league play as well as eight to ten major soccer tournaments each year.
