This is in response to the article, “Appeals board broke open meeting law” [Maryland Independent, Feb. 8].

Oh, Mark Mudd. Your remark, “Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while,” was so disrespectful.

But if that’s the worst thing you can say about the people of Nanjemoy, we don’t mind.

Squirrels are smart, resourceful, persistent and very agile. And we have lots more “acorns” in our cache. We will proudly wear the “S” for squirrel on our foreheads.
