As a resident of Calvert County, I just want to say “thanks” to the State Highway Administration for cleaning up the landscape along H.G. Trueman Road in Lusby.

The debris left by Hurricane Irene has been an unsightly mess for some time and I’m happy that there are those “like myself” who care enough to change that. However, there are those who litter the highway every day with their own personal trash out of respect for the residents who live along this road. If all of us were more concerned about the beauty of our landscape here in Calvert County, what a difference it would make.

Again, “thanks” SHA for caring.
