Tim and Kathy Miller of Mechanicsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Crystal Lee Miller, to Eric Daniel Holm, son of Doug and Mary Holm of Crestline, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Thomas Stone High School.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education at the University of Maryland in 2004.

She earned her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix.

She teaches sixth-grade math at Milton M. Somers Middle School.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Crestline High School in Crestline.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics at Kent State University in 2003.

He is working on his master’s degree in engineering at the University of Maryland.

He currently works at 84 Lumber/Components as a truss designer.

A July 7 wedding is planned at St. Peter’s Church in Waldorf.

They will reside in Charlotte Hall.
