Robert Reed “Bob” Blake, 75, of Callaway died April 3, 3012, at Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton.
Born Feb. 19, 1937, in Brockton, Mass., he was the son of the late John E. Blake and the late Cecile Lachevre Blake.
He was a lithographer/pressman. He was a Meals-on-Wheels volunteer in St. Mary’s County. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John “Jack” Blake.
He is survived by his sons, Robert R. Blake Jr., Michael E. Blake and Mark A. Blake; his daughters, Phyllis Ann and her husband, Steven Holderness, and Terri Rene Blake; his sisters, Martha Harris of North Carolina and Kay Faulkner of Maine; his grandchildren, John, Robert, Tina, Kenneth, Stephen and Sarah; and five great-grandchildren.
Interment will take place April 20 at 12:30 p.m. at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham.
Arrangements are being handled by Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
