5th District: 3/19/2012 to 3/27/2012

Strong-arm robbery

* On March 23 at 10:30 p.m. in front of the Germantown Library, 19840 Century Blvd. in Germantown, The robbers assaulted the victim and removed property. The robbers were described as female, 18-19, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, 140 ; as male, 19-20, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, 185-195 pounds; and as male, 18-20, 6 feet to 6 feet 1 inch tall, wearing dreadlocks.

Vehicle larceny

* 13400 block of Queenstown Lane in Germantown, overnight between March 22 and March 23. Forced entry, cash taken.

* 13200 block of Lake Geneva Way in Germantown, overnight between March 22 and March 23. Vehicle left unlocked, purse taken.

* 13400 block of Queenstown Lane in Germantown, overnight between March 22 and March 23. Unknown entry, phone charger, cash taken.

Commercial burglary

* St. Nicholas Church, 15575 Germantown Road in Darnestown, between 5 p.m. March 23 and 4:45 p.m. March 24. Forced entry, property taken.

Residential burglary

* 13100 block of Briarcliff Terrace in Germantown, between noon and 4:30 p.m. March 20. Forced entry, property taken.

* 19200 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown, between 12:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. March 23. No forced entry, property taken.

* 19200 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown between 4:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. March 23. Forced entry, property taken.

* 14000 block of Gallop Terrace in Germantown, between 2 p.m. and 6:05 p.m. March 21. Forced entry, property taken. A 12-year-old male from Germantown was arrested.
