The Brunswick Volunteer Fire Co. will host a community safety day on May 26.

The event will be from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the fire station, at 1500 Volunteer Drive in Brunswick, and include demonstrations and displays by a variety of health and safety organizations.

Participants are to include the Brunswick Volunteer Fire Co. and Brunswick Volunteer Ambulance Co., Brunswick Police Department, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office with McGruff the Crime Dog, Maryland State Police, Maryland State Police Aviation, Frederick County Animal Control, Thurmont K-9 search and rescue, Brunswick area Boy Scouts, Brunswick Main Street and a tactical response team.

There will also be a Red Cross display and blood drive, as well as car seat safety checks, food, raffles and events.
