Lance Edward Skiles, 38, Port Tobacco
Lance Edward Skiles, 38, of Port Tobacco died April 19, 2012, in Panama City, Panama.
Born June 11, 1973, in Cheverly, he was the son of Donald Edward Skiles Jr. and the late Linda E. Cleaver Skiles.
He was a self-employed business owner of Auspice Mobile. He was an avid motorcyclist and hunter. He was a former member of Sports Car Club of America. He was very musically inclined, able to play many instruments.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dwayne Alan Skiles.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of eight years, Nishaya Tervoort Skiles; son, Xavier J. Skiles of Port Tobacco; daughters, Breanna L. Mead of Springfield, Va., Lanaya P. Skiles and Savanna L. Skiles, both of Port Tobacco; sister, Lisa L. Stone of White Plains; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Teresa Stancliff of Port Tobacco; nephews, Dylan M. Skiles and Dalton M. Skiles and Harrison K. Stancliff; and nieces, Danielle and Jessica Stone, Reese Skiles and Samantha Stancliff.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. May 6 at New Life Wesleyan Church, La Plata. The Rev. B. J. Treadway and the Rev. Bruce Jones will officiate. Burial will be by the family at a later date.
