Katsuji Antonio Summers, 48, Waldorf
Katsuji Antonio “Tony” Summers, 48, of Waldorf died May 7, 2012, at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C.
Born July 6, 1963, in Clinton, he was the son of the late Frank W. Summers and Michie Kanemitsu Summers of the District.
Mr. Summers was a general contractor for 23 years with his company, KSS Contractors. He was a member of New Life Wesleyan Church in La Plata. He attended the Diesel Institute of America and the Culinary Institute of America. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved hunting rabbits with his beagles. He also loved to cook.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of seven years, Alexandria Summers; sons, Devan and Ricardo Sample, both of West Virginia; brothers, Dale Summers of Lake Charles, La., and Keiji Summers of Woodbridge, Va.; and sisters, Melody Summers of Brooklyn, N.Y., Naomi Summers of Odenton and Mika Summers-Gomillion and her husband, Maurice of Fort Washington.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. May 12 at New Life Wesleyan Church. The Rev. Chris Bryant will officiate. Burial will be at a later date by the family.
Pallbearers will be Keiji, Dale and Ori Summers, Maurice Gomillion, Anthony McMahon and Douglas Cofer.
