The Friends of Clara Barton will hold a free shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 19 at the Clara Barton Recreation Center, 7425 MacArthur Blvd., Cabin John.

There is no limit to amount of shredding per person.

“It is free but we ask people for donations to cover the cost of the shredder truck,” organizer Leslie Bardon said.
