Cash was stolen May 15 from the Burchmart at 10195 Berry Road in Waldorf, but the thieves were not captured, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.

After an alarm went off at the store, officers responded at 2:35 a.m. They found the rear door open but no one inside the store. Money had been stolen.

Evidence was collected and processed.
