Two adults and a student were on board a school bus that was involved in an accident Monday.
At 7:43 a.m. Monday, school Bus 330 was driving north on U.S. 301 when it was rear-ended by a Ford Windstar minivan operated by a 24-year-old woman at the intersection of U.S. 301 and Budds Creek Road in Glasva.
Katie O’Malley-Simpson, Charles County Public Schools spokeswoman, said one student, the bus driver and an attendant were on the bus.
The female bus driver, 49, and female attendant, 47, were transported by ambulance to Civista Medical Center in La Plata for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening, according to information provided by the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.
The student, 16, was not injured and was transported to the High Road School of Southern Maryland in La Plata.
The driver of the minivan was transported to Civista Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening and a passenger in the van was not injured, according to a sheriff’s office report.
