Daniel Brian Evans, 26, of Lexington Park was jailed Monday in lieu of bonds totaling $15,000 on charging papers alleging he broke into the St. Inigoes home of a girlfriend’s mother on Sunday and committed a second-degree assault on his pregnant sister last month in Piney Point.
Evans went into Tammy Lee Thompson’s home on Sunday through a window, charging papers allege, and police found him in Angelica Andra Yates’ bedroom, next to a small child lying in the bed. Evans was charged with first-degree burglary through the investigation by Trooper Michael Moore of the Maryland State Police.
Evans already was wanted on a warrant alleging he pushed his sister, Molly Brooke Evans, into a wall on April 26 at her home off Route 249, and damaged a door to her bedroom.
