Charlotte Thompson, 74, Port Tobacco

Charlotte “Faye” Thompson, 74, of Port Tobacco died May 25, 2012, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata.

Born May 6, 1938, in Chatham Hill, Va., she was the daughter of the late George G. Hubble and the late Aubra Hubble.

She was a waitress for 30 years at many Charles County restaurants. She enjoyed her family and socializing with her customers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy F. Thompson; and 10 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Thompson; son, Mark Thompson; daughter, Venus Viar; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. May 30 at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. May 31 at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf.
