Man charged for stealing purse
Jay Wainwright, 30, of Landover was charged with theft after witnesses saw him allegedly steal a purse off of the 7-Eleven counter at 1:20 p.m. May 21. Cpl. R. Wilson responded to the store and located Wainwright, questioned him and subsequently arrested him. The purse and its contents were found and returned to the victim.
