The bride-to-be is a graduate of the Academy of Holy Cross and Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University in Blacksburg, Va. She is currently employed as a mortgage broker for A and N Mortgage Services in Chicago, Illinois.

The prospective groom is a 1994 graduate of Woodbridge High School and Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University in Blacksburg, Va. He is currently employed by Microsoft and covers territories in the Western United States.

An October 19 wedding is planned in Chicago, where the couple currently resides.
