Juan Jose Moreno, 45, of Gaithersburg, died May 23, 2012, of complications due to an arteriovenous malformation.

He was born March 2, 1967, in Lima, Peru, to Oscar R. and Margarita Moreno.

He attended Montgomery College and worked at the World Bank in Washington, D.C.

He is survived by four siblings, Cecelia Saway and husband William of Brookeville, Rita Michels and husband Bud of Columbia, Oscar Moreno and partner Matthew Doerpinghaus of Rockville and Ricardo Moreno and wife Sandra of Brookeville; and seven nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will take place at 5:30 p.m. June 20 at Saint Peter’s Parish, 2900 Olney-Sandy Spring Road, Olney. Memorial contributions may be made to the Aneurysm and AVM Foundation at www.taafonline.org.
