Arleen Elizabeth Mayhew, 90, of Huntingtown died June 4, 2012, at her residence.
She was born June 5, 1921, in Meadows to John Wesley and Kate Elizabeth (Tudge) Ferguson.
She was employed as a meat wrapper with Safeway Grocery until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanislaus X. Mayhew; and brothers, Harvey and Claude Ferguson.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Simpson Locklear and her husband, Mack, of Glendale, Wanda Hoge and her husband, Greg, of Salem, Va., and Nancy Adams and her husband, Canie, of Moneta, Va.; son, Ronald Mayhew of Huntingtown; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Family received friends on June 7 at Rausch Funeral Home, 8325 Mt. Harmony Lane in Owings.
Interment followed at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood.
