He was the husband of Roberta (nee Gooding) “Bobbi” Petrillo. At the time of his death, Mr. Petrillo was under the care of Hospice of the Chesapeake, his wife and caregiver Sherri Schossler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Sue Petrillo; brothers, Charles Petrillo and Donald Petrillo; and former wife, Florence Esposito Petrillo.

He is survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy Emily Petrillo of Wayson’s Corner and Lorraine Petrillo of Phelan, Calif.; brother Joseph Petrillo of Florida; sisters Angie Gentry (Randy) of Rotunda, Fla., Dorothy Tilley of Florida and Lena Grace (Jack) of Norco, Calif. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Christine Gardner (Bill) of Mechanicsville and Judy Gooding of Maple Valley, Wash. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, especially Danny, Julie and Daniel Petrillo of Alexandria, Va., and Charlie, Cissy and Lynn Petrillo of California, along with extended family as well as friends, neighbors, and his wife’s NAVSEA & CNO Navy co-workers, as well as her breast cancer support group in Calvert County.

Cremation was handled by Rendon-Hale Lanham Funeral Home in Lanham. Private memorial will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
