The second of eight shows scheduled for this summer at the Kentlands’ Main Street Pavilion Green in Gaithersburg will be June 21.

Each show brings a different regional style, organizers say. The June 21 concert will feature Janine Gilbert Carter, a jazz, blues, and gospel vocalist.

The event begins at 6 p.m., with showtime at 6:30 p.m. A local performer or youth group is picked to perform before each major performance.

This event is free and open to the public. The Main Street Pavilion is at the corner of Main Street and Midtown Road in Gaithersburg.
