Dolores V. “Dolly” Balkenbush, 75, of Dunkirk died June 18, 2012.

She was born Jan. 7, 1937, in Washington, D.C., to the late Robert and Mary Frances Marks.

She was a history enthusiast and enjoyed researching her genealogy in her free time. In her searches, she discovered several connections and became a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Balkenbush.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, at Lee Funeral Home Calvert in Owings.

Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
