Someone stole jewelry and cigarettes from a house in the 9400 block of Trinity Church Road in Charlotte Hall after cutting a hole in its screened-in porch between June 12 and 13, Charles County sheriff’s officers reported.

The homeowner discovered the burglary the morning of June 15, when she noticed her cigarettes were missing. The scene was processed and evidence was recovered.

A similar burglary occurred at a neighboring home last week.
