Cheverly Police are searching for the man who twice used a credit card at a Lanham Target he allegedly stole June 5 from a Judith P. Hoyer Montessori School office.

The suspect is a bald and bearded black man wearing glasses as seen in surveillance camera footage from the Target at 10401 Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and allegedly used the card about 1:33 p.m. June 5 and a second time about 10:45 p.m. June 9, according to Cheverly Police. The school is on 2300 Belleview Ave., located six miles away from the Target.

“Right now we don’t believe it was a school employee,” said Cheverly Police Detective Bernard Jones.
