Stay out of Nanjemoy Creek, Charles County government has warned.

An announcement from the Charles County Department of Health’s division of environmental services advised that water samples taken June 20 near Friendship Landing show dangerously high bacterial levels. People are asked to avoid all water-related activities there.

More samples will be taken soon, the release states.
