Submitted photoThe 11-U Warriors Baseball Club of Charles County won the 2012 11-U Maryland State Championship Tournament held at the Lake Shore Baseball Complex in Pasadena on May 26 to 28.

The Warriors played five games against some of the top 11-U teams in Maryland leading up to the championship game in which they defeated the Arena Starz, a Bel Air-based team, 11-1. The Warriors, a La Plata-based team, are comprised of 11 players from Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s counties, as well as King George, Va.
