A judge ordered this week that Justin William Hudson, 34, of Mechanicsville be held in custody in lieu of $5,000 bond on charging papers alleging he went into a sleeping neighbor’s home last Sunday morning, got on his bed and began punching him in the head.
“I was mad at him for calling the police on me last night, so I went in his house to confront him,” Hudson later said to police, according to charging papers alleging that the suspect also stated numerous times, “I should have killed him.”
Hudson was charged with a third-degree burglary at the residence off Golden Beach Road and committing a second-degree assault on Christopher Kemp, through the investigation by sheriff’s deputy Douglas Harris.
