Home2 Suites by Hilton Lexington Park and its parent company, Cherry Cove Hospitality, have partnered with the local veterans support group Wounded Warrior Program to lodge veterans in their hotels when they visit Patuxent River Naval Air Station pursuing careers.
Home2 Suites will be hosting the Wounded Warriors monthly organizational meetings. Home2 kicked off the June 28 meeting with a barbecue social.
“Your2 Hands” is the community relations program for the Home2 Suites by Hilton brand.
The regular meetings will occur on the third Thursday at the hotel at 46058 Valley Drive in Lexington Park.
Anyone who has services, employment opportunities or would like to support is invited to the July 19 meeting from 5 to 6 p.m.

Businesses to host CMH fundraiser
Remax One and Bayside Auto Group will host a summer festival at Auto Drive 8 a.m. to noon on July 28 across the street from Bayside Auto Group at 110 Auto Drive in Prince Frederick.
Admission is free.
Proceeds and donations will benefit the Calvert Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Featured attractions will include the Remax hot air balloon (weather permitting), Fantasy World Entertainment game patrol and rainforest slide, Calvert County sheriff’s mobile unit, music by DJ Dave, treats by Smoothie King, face-painting and food.
