Golden Corral restaurants have provided more than 1.8 million free meals and contributed more than $2.53 million to the Disabled American Veterans organization. As a show of appreciation for its support and financial assistance during the 2012 membership year, Disabled American Veterans Pfc. John C. De Marr, Chapter 36 of Waldorf, presented a plaque to the Waldorf Golden Corral on May 22. Accepting the award on behalf of the Golden Corral Corp. is manager Bill Simmons.
