Francis Jerome Chesley, 65, of Washington, D.C., died July 19, 2012, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Washington, D.C.

Born July 15, 1947, in Dentsville, he was the son of the late Thomas O. and the late Mary A. Chesley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Viola Cole; and brother, Thomas O. Chesley Jr.

He is survived by his brothers, Marion, James and Michael Chesley; and sisters, Sarah Baker, Bertha Butler, Arline Marsh and Theresa Muschette.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. July 27 at Pope Funeral Home, Forestville. Burial will take place at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham.
