Betty and Gary Vukmanic of Brookeville and Joanne and Tom Robinson of Newtown Square, Pa., announce the engagement of their children, Jill Vukmanic and Mike Robinson.

The bride-to-be, a 2001 graduate of Sherwood High School, earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech. She is a mechanical engineer for Air Liquide.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University and a master’s degree from Cabrini College. He is a fifth-grade teacher at Summerwood Elementary School.

The couple resides in Houston, Texas. A July 2013 wedding in Chesapeake Beach is being planned.
