Diane and Ed Beaghan celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 14 with a two-week cruise and land tour to Alaska given to them by their daughter, Susan, who accompanied them on the trip.

On the evening of July 14, Capt. Fabio Amitrano of the Coral Princess officiated a vow renewal ceremony while the ship was sailing in Glacier Bay, Alaska.

Ed and Diane met while attending Anacostia High School in Washington, D.C.

Diane retired from Riggs Bank after 38 years.

Ed retired from Washington Gas Light Co. with 30 years’ service.

Both so enjoy seeing the countryside from their Harley-Davidson motorcycle that they rented one in Alaska to complete a goal of riding a Harley in all 50 states.
