Kristen Fluty of Huntingotwn, daughter of Howard and Pam Fluty of Huntingtown, received the Class of 1943 Scholarship at the 2012 Spring Honors Convocation at Salisbury University. The Class of ’43 scholarship is awarded annually to education students.

Fluty is a junior elementary education major. She is a member of Best Buddies and Kappa Delta Pi and is a 2009 graduate of Huntingtown High School.
