Martin Bray, 27, of Lexington Park was jailed in lieu of $15,000 bond after his arrest on charging papers alleging he broke into the St. James Pub off Route 235 last week, destroyed two windows and stole a cash register.
Bray was charged with committing a second-degree burglary during the Aug. 7 break-in at the business. A police dog led law officers to a Mattapany Road residence that the suspect had been assisting in remodeling, according to a charges application filed by sheriff’s deputy Michael Boyer. The suspect was charged after police reviewed surveillance video at the business.
