Margaret Eileen Guiles, 51, of Leonardtown died at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital on Aug. 11, 2012. She fought courageously over the last year from multiple myeloma and its complications.

Born Nov. 10, 1960, in Norwalk, Conn., she was the daughter of Harold Stewart Guiles of Leonardtown and the late Joan Patricia (McSally) Guiles.

She loved animals, especially her dog, Max. She was into cars. She will be remembered for her giving, big heart.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her brothers, Gary Guiles Sr. of Mechanicsville and Kenneth Guiles of New Haven, Conn.; her sisters, Elizabeth Guiles of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lisa Cates of Leonardtown; six nieces; one nephew; and 17 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services are private.
