Eric Mahaffey has been promoted to vice president at Zekiah Technologies.

Mahaffey will manage Zekiah’s new contract at the Department of Homeland Security in Arlington, Va.

He joined Zekiah in 2003 and has been integral in expanding Zekiah’s geospatial services, a news release from the La Plata software engineering company states.

A graduate of Coastal Carolina University, Mahaffey has continued his geospatial education with Environmental Systems Research Institute.

“Eric has been a key member of Zekiah’s staff for years, providing outstanding geospatial solutions to many of our core customers. We are very happy to have Eric join our executive team and establish an important new relationship with DHS,” Bill Dollins, Zekiah’s senior vice president of Geospatial Services, said in the release.
