The following local students were named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2012 semester at Lycoming College:

Julia Was of Owings, a recently graduated biology major;

Kelsey Pope of Dunkirk, a sophomore digital media communications major;

Kaitlin Marsden of Huntingtown, a junior political science major;

Jacqueline Heaney of Lusby, a junior psychology major.

The dean’s list is issued at the close of each semester in recognition of superior scholarship. Students make the dean’s list if they complete at least 12 semester hours and earn a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for the semester.
