Several branches of Montgomery County Public Libraries will stay open later beginning Sept. 16, according to a county news release.

Bethesda, Germantown, Quince Orchard, Rockville Memorial and Wheaton libraries will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Friday and Saturday hours at these branches will remain unchanged at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Also beginning Sept. 16, all county libraries with Sunday hours will open one hour earlier at noon and remain open until 5 p.m., according to the release.

Libraries with Sunday hours include: Bethesda, Gaithersburg Interim at Lakeforest Mall, Germantown, Marilyn J. Praisner, Rockville Memorial, Silver Spring and Wheaton.
