Erin Staver of Chesapeake Beach is a recipient of a $1,500 college scholarship awarded at Joint Base Andrews. The base is one of more than 250 commissaries operated worldwide by the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). She is the daughter of James and Cynthia Staver. She enrolled, or plans to enroll, at Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Her school and community activities include: cross country; indoor track; National Art Honor Society; French Club and Key Club.
