Charles County detectives are seeking the identity of two men caught on surveillance video robbing the Country Place Liquors store in Bryans Road on Friday.
The men walked inside the store, located in the 3100 block of Marshall Hall Road, right after 10 a.m., pulled a handgun and demanded cash, police said. The clerks obeyed, and the robbers fled.
The Charles County Sheriff’s Office has released surveillance photos of the suspects hoping that someone will recognize the robbers and report them to police. A cash reward is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspects, each described as black males possibly in their 20s.
One of the men is between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs between 170 and 180 pounds and had long dreadlocks at the time of the robbery. He was wearing a black shirt, a black Chicago Bulls hat, black jeans and black shoes.
The second man is about 6 feet 3 inches tall and has a thin build. He was wearing a Washington Redskins hat, black jeans and a black shirt.
Anyone with information about the case should call detective B. Buchanan at 301-609-6477. Those wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS, text CHARLES and the tip to CRIMES or go to www.ccso.us to submit a tip online.
