Stereo equipment and other items were stolen from three cars Sept. 13 at the Mattawoman park and ride lot in the 3200 block of Mattawoman Beantown Road in Waldorf, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The thefts occurred between 5:40 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.

Officers canvassed the area and processed the scene for evidence.
