Three local Avon Products’ representatives were recognized among the beauty company’s top reps in the country.

Thomas Mahaffey, Maryann Penn and Molly Stone-Bibb, all of Waldorf, were awarded a seven-day cruise to Alaska to celebrate their success.

The announcement was made at Avon’s President’s Recognition Program Celebration. It is an annual event where the direct seller of beauty and other products brings together its representatives who have distinguished themselves as top performers in sales or leadership.

"These individuals embody the entrepreneurial spirit that has been at the heart of Avon for all these years, demonstrating firsthand how Avon representatives can have economic empowerment, financial freedom, and the opportunity to lead a team and mentor others," said Angelo Rossi, group vice president of Avon North America sales, in a news release.

The cruise took place July 20 through 27.
