William Harvey Butcher III, 20 of Hollywood was arrested and charged with several counts of malicious destruction of property Sept. 19 after he allegedly placed U.S. Postal Priority Mail stickers with the word “Tumone” written in various colors on several signs along Hollywood Road, according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. After a lookout was broadcast for a male placing graffiti stickers in the area, Cpl. Margaret Smolarsky arrived and located a male matching the description who fled on foot. Butcher was located a short time later and arrested, according to a police report.
