Emma Caroline Spencer, 83, formerly of Runnemede, N.J., died Sept. 12, 2012, in El Dorado, Kan., surrounded by her family.

Born May 11, 1929, in Mount Ephraim, N.J., she was the daughter of the late George and Emma Killmer.

She is survived by her children, John Spencer (Ali) of El Dorado, Linda Wright (Ken) of California and Karen Allaire (David) of Lexington Park; her grandchildren, Susan Fanelli of Clementon, N.J., James Fanelli of Clementon, Mark Wright (Emily) of White Sands, Lora Wright of California, Kevin Wright of Great Mills; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Wright, Aliyah Wright, Tanasha Wright, Desserae Wright and Ariella Wright; and her brother, William Killmer of Mt. Dora, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence R. Spencer; and her brother, George Killmer.

Arrangements were handled by Smith’s Funeral Home in Mantua, N.J., where a private funeral service was held Sept. 18, with the Rev. Andrew Engelhart III officiating. Interment followed at Atco Cemetery in New Jersey. Pallbearers were John Spencer, Kenneth Wright, David Allaire, James Fanelli, Mark Wright and Kevin Wright.
