Money was stolen during a Saturday morning break-in at a business located at 1214 Smallwood Drive West in Waldorf, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Police responded to an intrusion alarm at 4:30 a.m. and, after finding ceiling tiles on the floor, determined someone had broken in through the roof.

A perimeter was established, and a K-9 team checked the store. No one was found, but an inventory check revealed that money had been stolen.
