La’Quasia LaShay Watson-Farmer, 15, Waldorf

La’Quasia LaShay “Quasia” Watson-Farmer, 15, of Waldorf died Sept. 30, 2012.

Born Dec. 1, 1996, in Clinton, she was the daughter of James Farmer and Tyrease Wheeler.

She attended Thomas Stone High School. She enjoyed going to the mall, hanging out with her friends and spending time with her family. She loved Chris Brown’s music. Her big sister, Jiteasha, was her best friend. Her baby sister, Maliyah, would always nag her to take her outside to play.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joseph Wheeler Sr.; uncle, Joseph Wheeler Jr.; and aunts Joannie, Shirely Wheeler and Linda Wills.

In addition to parents, she is survived by her sisters, Jiteasha Farmer and Maliyah Hagens, both of Waldorf; grandparents, Gail Wheeler, Agnes King, Rodney Barbour and Allen Farmer; great-grandparents, Mary Adell Wheeler, and William and Mary “Nelly” Barbour; aunts, Marquita and LaToya Wheeler; uncles, Tony Wheeler and Kalin Barbour; stepfather, Theodore Hagens; special brother, De’Audre Robinson; and many other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Oct 9 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Plata. Burial will take place at the church cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Raymond Funeral Service, La Plata.
