James William “Buck” Newman Sr., 74, of Waldorf died Sept. 29, 2012, in Waldorf. He was born April 11, 1938, in Washington, D.C. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Oct. 6 at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, Waldorf. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton.
